MEDICAL MANAGEMENT / COST CONTAINMENT SERVICES

The Stockman Group (TSG) provides Comprehensive Medical Management, Cost Containment Services to both the public and private sectors. Our staff of Registered Nurses, who are Certified Occupational Health Nurses, are knowledgeable in Workers' Compensation laws and are able to integrate all available cost effective medical management techniques to promote early return to work, reduce litigation, and ultimately decrease costs.

Services include:

Intervention by a medical management nurse specialist within 24 hours of notice of claim

Investigation as to work relatedness of injuries where the allegation is unsupported by medical facts

Interface with insurance carrier or Third Party Administrator to ensure all available cost containment services are utilized

Quality assurance evaluation of health care provider

Utilization review of health care providers, diagnostic services, physical therapy providers, etc., to ensure that services are appropriate and cost effective

Institute disability management programs to reduce lost time

Provide on-site evaluations with employees and health care provider where appropriate

Evaluate the management and treatment of work related injuries and provide solutions for cost containment
